Jomalaleden 40 km – cultural landscape and historic sights
The trail offers beautiful nature and rocky hilltops with open views, and passes through Ramsholmen nature reserve and Åland farming villages, such as Gottby with fine homesteads from the late 1800s onwards.
Along the trail there are historical sights such as Kungsö Coastal Battery Hill with a 3–6-kilometre hiking trail and remnants of a Russian military battery built in 1916–1918. In Prästgården village you can visit Jomala church, the oldest parts of which dating back to the 1200s. At Vikingavallen sports grounds there is a picnic spot overlooking a small lake.
