Rödhamn

Rödhamn is an idyllic island located just 10 nautical miles from Mariehamn, and for centuries it has served as a sheltered overnight harbour for seafarers. Here, hospitality, good food and drinks, freshly baked pastries, sauna experiences at sunset and a strong sense of community among like-minded boaters come together – all in a stunning archipelago setting.

The harbour enjoys an excellent location: the surrounding rocks provide good protection from the wind, and the anchorage is reliable. The island offers several quays for mooring, and upon arrival ashore you will be welcomed by hosts Anette and Christian at the cosy café. Expect a warm reception – and the option to order freshly baked bread delivered directly to your boat the following morning.

The guest harbour features a service building with showers and dishwashing facilities, a wood-fired sauna available for rent, toilets and a waste management station.

The island café serves homemade baked goods and light meals, and is licensed to serve beer and wine.
